Fishing Report August 2018

August has begun with a decrease in rainfall, which has favored clearer waters both in the river and along the coast.

Near the coast the roosters have been biting with live bait as well as some small sharks; On the other hand, near to Caño Island, Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoos are biting our artificial lures in the trolling mode.

I want to take this opportunity to let you know that this month my friend Diego Toiran from Florida USA presented the first part of what was his fishing in Costa Rica with us from his fishing show “Pescando en los Cayos”

He went here fishing with us last april.
