Fishing Report, February 2021
Fishing in February has been even better than in January.
Yellowfin tunas continue to bite near to Caño Island. Cubera snappers are also biting, in fact sometimes they have stolen some fish that were in our line while we were jigging.
By the way, jigging fishing has also been very good, African Pámpanos, Snappers, Almacos are some of the species that have been more active.
The Wahoos are back and we’ve caught some good ones
Roosterfish and Sierra mackerels fish have also given us a lot of action along the coast.
In the estuary, Mangrove snappers and Corvinas have also kept us entertained.
We still have some dates available for the month of March, the last month of the dry season in Costa Rica; in April we will have the transition to the rainy season; so, take advantage and book your fishing tour with us. It will be a pleasure to take you fishing.
