Sport fishing in Sierpe, Costa Rica

Fishing Forecast

We are entering the rainiest month of the year, October. The rivers begin to throw logs and other types of floating objects into the sea. So it is common to find them in the ocean currents which is a good indication since Mahi Mahi like to swim along these currents in search of small fish which seek refuge in what floats in the currents. So this month will mark the start of the Mahi Mahi season in our waters. The cold waters due to the rain and a possible return of the La Niña phenomenon indicates that the fishing in general will remain very good. If you haven’t already, book your fishing tour with us. It will be a pleasure to take you fishing. Follow us on Facebook
