Two legendary fishing grounds. One incredible stretch of Pacific.

Explore the wild waters of the Osa Peninsula with a nearshore charter built around two completely different fishing environments: the deep water off Corcovado National Park, and the water surrounding Caño Island Biological Reserve.

Both sit at a similar running distance from the mouth of the Sierpe River — but the fishing experience is completely different.

Corcovado — topwater casting & deep jigging

The deep water and submerged structure off Corcovado hold powerful predators. Cast poppers and stickbaits for Roosterfish and trophy Cubera Snapper, work vertical jigs for Grouper, Amberjack, African Pompano and Red Snapper, or troll artificial lures over the structure looking for an unexpected strike.

Caño Island — trolling & jigging

Approximately 14 nautical miles from the Sierpe River mouth, Caño Island is surrounded by exceptionally productive Pacific water. High-speed trolling gives anglers opportunities for Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo, while seasonal Mahi-Mahi move through the area, particularly during October and November.

Deep jigging around selected underwater structure can produce Grouper, Cubera Snapper and Bluefin Trevally, with Yellowfin Tuna occasionally attacking the jig on the drop.

For anglers who want the complete experience, fishing both Corcovado and Caño Island can be arranged on the same day for an additional charge.
