Fly fishing

Max 2 fly anglers

You don’t have to travel far to find serious fish. Once we cross the mouth of the Sierpe River we enter productive coastal water stretching toward Drake Bay and the boundaries of Corcovado National Park.

Our coastline features deep rock formations and natural structures that consistently attract large resident fish.

Fishing is productive throughout the year and topwater can be excellent in any month, with changing conditions creating different opportunities. From late December through early April, large schools of sardines also move toward the beaches to spawn, attracting aggressive predators and adding to the action for poppers and fly fishing.

Fly fishing

Saltwater fly fishing is available. Fly anglers should bring their own rods, reels, lines, leaders and flies. Casting needs room, so we recommend a maximum of two fly anglers for comfortable and safe casting space.

Make it a combo

Want to experience two ecosystems in one day? Combine your coastal trip with Sierpe River fishing. Because river fishing is strongly influenced by the tides, we’ll help plan the day around the conditions.
