Before the Pacific begins, there is Sierpe. The river winds through one of Costa Rica’s most biologically rich regions, surrounded by mangroves and tropical vegetation before reaching the ocean.

River fishing offers a completely different experience from our ocean charters: calmer water, changing tides, and the opportunity to fish surrounded by the wildlife and landscapes of the Osa Peninsula.

Normally, the best time for river fishing is during low tide. Because the fishing window depends on the tide, this tour lasts a maximum of five hours.

You can book it as a standalone experience or combine it with an inshore fishing trip when tide conditions are favorable.
