An update on how the fishing has been in July and August.
Along the coast, we’ve caught many roosterfish, mackerel, jacks, and some cubera snapper. This fishing has been particularly good using topwater lures.
Around Caño Island, we’ve caught many yellowfin tuna, as well as a good number of wahoo, using trolling lures. Jigging has also been effective; we’ve caught pompano, snapper, tuna, grouper, and even a couple of roosterfish on our jigs.
