Sport fishing in Sierpe, Costa Rica

FISHING REPORT JANUARY 2016

Due to warming waters in the Pacific by El Niño, the fish activity has dropped, the fish also have sought deeper waters.

The best results we obtained by jigging from 200 feet. Snappers, Groupers and Amberjacks are biting in this mode.

In the Sierpe River fishing he has been very good. Snappers and Corvinas are biting in trolling fishing. In shallow waters near to the sandbars roosters are biting with topwater lures.
