Fishing Report, September 2026

Even though waters remain slightly warmer than usual due to El Niño conditions, we’ve
seen plenty of action in the waters around Caño Island. Throughout September, Yellowfin
Tuna have been consistently striking our trolling lures, and we’ve also encountered good
numbers of Wahoo.
On our most recent trip, we caught our first Mahi‑Mahi of the season — and it appears
they’re running early this year! Normally, the peak Mahi‑Mahi run in our area spans from
late October through November, but they’re already showing up in good numbers right
now.
If you haven’t booked your trip yet, we invite you to reserve your spot with us soon — the
action is heating up!
