Fishing Report, September 2019

Trolling around Caño Island been good. 10 to 15 pounds Yellowfin tuna and mackerel tuna been biting trolling lures.

Humpback whales still showing up near to Caño Island, so there is a chance to been fighting with a good fish and watch the whales jumping at the same time…

Some miles out of the Sierpe River mouth is a ocean current with many floating staff so Mahi Mahi is swimming along it. We been catching the mahis by trolling and casting mode.

Along the coast Roosters, Mackerels and jacks are biting too

September and October are good months for go up Sierpe river to fish for snook and maybe couple of tarpon
