Fishing Report, October 2019

The fish have been very hungry in October. Around Caño Island, trolling has been producing many fish such as Yellowfin Tuna, Tuna Mackerel, Mahi Mahi and Cubera Snapper. Along the coast the fishing that is giving good results casting with topwater lures, Roosterfish, Jack Caravelle, Barracudas, Sierra Mackerels and Cubera Snappers have been biting our lures. The Sierpe estuary has not been the exception in these good fishing days; Mangrove Snappers and Yellowtail Snappers have been biting Although October is one of the rainiest months so far it has not rained much and the sea has remained relatively calm.
